Here at Premium Health we do our best to offer a hassle free Covid-19 testing experience. While following Federal and State Laws, rules and regulations we do everything we can to provide all patients with affordable and convenient testing across California at Premium Health test sites.

In order to do so, we ask that when arriving to get tested with us, bring your Government issued ID and insurance information.

How to find a Premium Health testing site near you?

In order to find our nearest testing site to you, visit Premium Health and enter your address or zip code. You may make an appointment at the location closest to you or if you prefer to get tested without an appointment, walk-ins are always welcome.

We at Premium Health strongly believe that Covid-19 testing should be easily accessible and available to everyone; therefore, we are now offering in-home testing at no extra cost, in addition to providing patients with RT-PCR self-testing kits that can be delivered to your door for free.

What types of testing does Premium Health offer?

We offer three types of Covid-19 testing. The RT-PCR, Accula SARS-CoV-2 test, and the Rapid Antigen test. The RT-PCR test is more accurate than the Rapid Antigen test as it detects the Viral DNA, and thus, is able to detect the virus at a much earlier stage. The turnaround time for this test is 16 hours. The Accula SARS-CoV-2 test is a Rapid RT-PCR test with a turnaround time of up to 2 hours.

On the other hand, the Rapid Antigen test detects the protein made by the virus; thus,  it tends to be less accurate, especially for asymptomatic patients and those at earlier stages of exposure. However, the results for this kind of test come back within 30 minutes of getting tested.

How much does Covid-19 testing with Premium Health cost?

Premium Health accepts all insurances with the exception of international insurances. We offer free RT-PCR testing with insurance. While the Rapid Antigen test normally costs $89, Premium Health is pleased to provide insured patients with a Free Combo test option which includes both the RT-PCR and the Rapid Antigen at no cost.

Unfortunately, insurances no longer cover Covid-19 testing for travel. Covid-19 testing would only be covered by insurance, given that the patient may have been exposed to Covid-19. In that case, insurances are responsible for the Covid-19 test related costs.
